Purposefully
I test my weight
until push comes to shove
and you trip and fall backwards
Ruthlessly
I cut you down
with lashes of inadequacy
and spit salt
into lacerations of rejection
As was done to me
Spooning out doses
of the venom raping my veins
so someone can taste my suffering
Because I have the power to do so
this time; I am not victim
and I pursue this so desperately
that I don’t care who is.
I descend
to the level of your predecessor
harming you
and sickening myself with shame.
Forgive me my regression.

being so consumed with hurt that you ashamedly hurt another, but to what end?
Having the choice to rise above being either predator and prey, only to choose the evil you haven't tried before.
I like they way you've structured this piece. and the very tangible nature you've given the concepts. tasting suffereing and venom raping your veins. and the pain of lashes of inadequacy.
It paints a very vivid image.
You really, really seem to dislike Jimmy.

The charming bastard (CB) is usually a male who at first appears to all as charismatic, witty and funny. However, some time after people first meet the bastard, things begin the change. This usually takes two days of contact, give or take. It becomes obvious that he bastard cares only for himself, will hurt others for personal gain, has a warped sense of social justice and is not intelligent in the least.
Eventually, people become mutually aware of the bastard's nature and will vie to get red of him. However, this usually takes long enough that the bastard can get away with bad deeds before people reach this state of awareness. At this point, the bastard will migrate to a new town, full of fresh naive fools to take advantage of. To counter this, it is important to idenitify charming bastards and deal with them yourself, instead of waiting for other people see through the lies.
In order to take down such a foe, it important to know his weaknesses. Many make the mistake of targeting the heart, the source of human love. However, it would appear that most charming bastards have discarded the organ, after finding no use for it. As they naturally seek lust, instead of love, targeting the source of their lust is tantamount. Attack it with haste, before the bastard recognises you as someone who isn't fooled.

Remember: she who strikes first is struck last - or never.
I thoroughly enjoyed the passion in this poem. The seething hatred and the ruthlessness I can relate to, though I would only direct such rage towards someone or something deserving of such. The feeling of shame is strong as well. But we all secretly wish that we didn't feel the shame, that we could fully embrace the feeling of vengeance and regress to beings of primal anger.
We must avoid regression to this state and calmly understand, forgive and pity those who harm us.
